Mystagos was created in 2005 by Heolstor. A demo was recorded during winter 2005, entitled “Walking the path of revelations” which was released on may 2007 by the german label Splendour Prod. on tape format. In 2008 the band recorded a full album entitled "Katabasis", released by From the dark Past. In 2015 a new album, "Christeos Chaos", was released my Morbid Shrine Prod.
